TITLE: GOD'S PERFECT WILL (SECTION 4)

1. Put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual sin, impurity, lust, and shameful desires. Don't be greedy for the good things of this life: Colossians 3:5-7, Romans 6:12-13, Leviticus 18:22-23

2. Live wisely among those who are not Christians, and make the most of every opportunity: Colossians 4:5, Matthew 10:16, Ephesians 5:16, Proverbs 13:8

3. Look how far you have fallen from your first love! Turn back to Christ again and work as you did at first: Revelation 2:5, Matthew 4:17

4. Seek and save those who are lost: Matthew 10:6, Luke 19:10, Luke 15:4-7, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Deuteronomy 32:36-43, James 5:19-20, Hebrews 4:16, Revelation 2:16

5. Remain submissive to Christ after obeying God: Luke 17:7-10

6. Help your teachers by paying them: Galatians 6:6-7, Hebrews 13:16

7. Let your conversation be gracious and effective: Colossians 4:6, Ephesians 4:29, 1 Peter 4:11

8. Do not pay back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to everyone else: 1 Thessalonians 5:15, Luke 6:35, Romans 12:17, 1 Peter 3:9, Romans 12:14, Romans 12:20-21

9. Humble yourself: 1 Peter 5:6, Luke 14:11, James 4:10, Proverbs 13:10, Proverbs 22:4, Proverbs 18:12, Mark 3:11-12

10. Do not cause children to stumble and sin: Mark 9:42

11. Break the relationship that makes you to sin: Mark 9:43-48

12. Be born again: John 3:5-7

13. Accept each other just as Christ has accepted you: Romans 15:7, 1 Corinthians 6:8, Phillipians 2:29-30

14. Do not grumble: 1 Corinthians 10:10, James 5:9, 1 Peter 4:9, Numbers 14:1-10, Numbers 14:26-38, Numbers 21:4-6, Numbers 16:41-50, Phillipians 2:14-16, Colossians 3:12-14, Numbers 11:1-15&31-34

15. If you think you are standing strong, be careful, for you, too, may fall into the same sin: 1 Corinthians 10:12

16. Do not think only of your own good. Think of other Christians and what is best for them: 1 Corinthians 10:24, 1 Corinthians 16:14, James 3:14-16

17. Do not just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good: Romans 12:9, Galatians 5:9, Ephesians 6:10, 2Thessalonians 3:13, Titus 3:14, Exodus 23:1-9, 1 Peter 4:19, John 12:27-28

18. Do not forget to do good and to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God: Hebrews 13:16, Galatians 5:10, Romans 12:9, 1 Peter 3:10-11, James 4:17, Genesis 18:1-10, Genesis 19:1-29, Genesis 18:17-33

19. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, rebuke and expose them: Ephesians 5:11, Romans 13:12, 2Corinthians 6:14-18, 1Thessalonians 5:22

20. Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord: Ephesians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 8:9, Romans 14:19
