HEAVEN STANDARD AND PRINCIPLES FOR TRUE CHRISTIANITY (SECTION 9)

TITLE: GOD'S PERFECT WILL (SECTION 9)

1. Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near: Hebrews 10:25

2. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. There are still others to whom you need to show mercy, but be careful that you aren't contaminated by their sins: Jude 1:23

3. Come to your senses and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don't even know God: 1Corinthians 15:24

4. Gently teach those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will believe the truth: 2Timothy 2:25

5. Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us: James 1:27

6. No more than two or three should speak in an unknown language. They must speak one at a time, and someone must be ready to interpret what they are saying. But if no one is present who can interpret, they must be silent in your church meeting and speak in tongues to God privately: 1Corinthians 14:27-28

7. Let two or three prophesy, and let the others evaluate what is said. But if someone is prophesying and another person receives a revelation from the Lord, the one who is speaking must stop. In this way, all who prophesy will have a turn to speak, one after the other, so that everyone will learn and be encouraged. Remember that people who prophesy are in control of their spirit and can wait their turn. For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the other churches: 1Corinthians 14:29-33

8. Be eager to prophesy, and don't forbid speaking in tongues. But be sure that everything is done properly and in order: 1Corinthians 14:39-40

9. Do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption: Ephesians 4:30

10. Believe and accept the doctrine of the Virgin birth of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God and His crucifixion, death, burial and bodily resurrection: Romans 1:4, Isaiah 7:14, 1Corinthians 15:34, Matthew 1:18-25

11. Believe and accept the doctrine of repentance as the complete turning away from all sins and its deceitful pleasures and that it is required from every sinner before he can truly believe in Jesus with saving faith: Hebrews 6:1-3, Proverbs 28:13, 2Corinthians 7:10, Isaiah 55:7, Acts 2:38, Ezekiel 18:21-23, Acts 3:19, Mark 1:15, Acts 20:20-21, Luke 24:46-47

12. Believe and accept the doctrine of restitution as making amends for wrongs done against our fellow men, restoring stolen things to their rightful owner, paying debts, giving back where one has defrauded, making confessions to the offended and apologizing to those slandered so as to have a conscience void of offense towards God and man: Genesis 20:1-8, James 4:17, Genesis 20:14-18, Acts 23:1-5, Exodus 22:1-7, Acts 24:16, Leviticus 6:1-7, Luke 19:8&9, Numbers 5:6-8, Matthew 5:23&24, 2Samuel 12:1-6, Ezekiel 33:14-16, Proverbs 6:30&31
