THE WICKED CONSPIRACY IS DISGRACED!

Daily Gratefulness on April 9th (Series 1)

BIBLE REFERENCE- Matt.28.2-4: Suddenly there was a great earthquake, because an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled aside the stone and sat on it.  His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint.

PSALMS OF GRATITUDE

Blessed be the God of heaven and Earth who has permitted our challenges to be tough that we might have perfect victory over it. He permitted the trial of Christ our Lord to be very tough on the way to Golgotha. He turned His face away from Jesus when He was on the cross of Calvary for complete three hours and the whole earth was darkened; the glory of the sun was darkened because the King who made it turned His face away from it. Christ shouted, Eli, Eli, why hast Thou forsaken Me? But the veil of the temple was torn in two by the power of the Lord! Then the centurion acknowledged and glorified God that certainly, Jesus was a righteous Man! 

The Chief Priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate and made plans to prevent Christ from rising from the dead. Pilate gave them the permission to execute their own evil wish against Christ's resurrection. They went and made the tomb secure; they sealed the stone and set guards to watch the tomb. 

But after Saturday, in dawn hours of that great Sunday, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. Behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the tomb entrance and sat on it. The Lord's angel removed and sat upon the hindrance planned against Christ's resurrection! The guards shook for fear of the Lord's angel and became like dead men. 

And the Angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. HE IS NOT HERE; FOR HE IS RISEN! 

Christ rose from the dead. Hell, death, Satan and sin have been defeated by our Lord the Saviour! All authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth. Our hope of eternal life with God is assured. The evil conspiracy of the enemies of our salvation has been disgraced.

PRAYERS OF GRATEFULNESS

1. Thank God for not permitting evil desires to be fulfilled on your life;

2. Thank God for causing the evil goals against your existence to fail;

3. Thank God for brightening your star;

4. Thank God for empowering you to shine;

5. Thank God for causing darkness to disappear in your life

6. Thank God for liberating you from the spiritual prison;

7. Thank God for disgracing the oppression of the oppressors, in Jesus' name. 

8. Ask God what you want (2Chronicles 1:6-7). Don't ask amiss (James 4:3). Let your request and prayer please God (2Chronicles 1:11-12)
