GRATITUDE FOR TODAY (AUGUST WEEK 4)

Colossians 2.7-rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Today, we would channel our gratitude to God  about three things.

1. Our Weaknesses

2. The slumber and demonic delay we experienced.

3. Our forgetfulness

Let us pray: Father, we thank You for a time like this on the social media, as we take note of the things we shall be reading, let the scales fall away from our eyes as You did for Apostle Paul, change our hearts to the hearts of gratitude to God, and write our names in the Book of Life, in Jesus'name. Amen.

OUR WEAKNESSES

No matter how great or mighty a man or woman might be, such had or has at least one weakness.  Over 70% of the people that God used in the Bible had at least one weakness. We don't have much of time  to count all of them. Moses had a weakness - anger. David had weakness - lust. Apostle Paul had a weakness - thorn in his flesh. There is no one in this group that did not have weakness. Infact, some people in this group still have some weaknesses.

The weakness in your life can stop you from experiencing your desired breakthrough. And until you break away from your weakness and defeat it, promotion from God will remain pending. Many people want promotion from God, but God is saying, *have you overcome your weakness*?

SLUMBER AND DEMONIC DELAY

Slumber and demonic delay are strategies of the enemies to hinder people from reaching their goals.  Slumber and demonic delay can not be positioned in a person's life without a loophole for the enemy. It's pitiful that many of us are being plagued by slumber and demonic delay. And a lot of us have also been graced to overcome slumber and delay.

OUR FORGETFULNESS

No matter how good our brains are, we still forget some things. For instance, Victoria once told me that we both fought in JSS 3, up till now, I can't remember that incident. But I can remember that I and Demilade quarreled when we were in JSS 2. How can you explain this??

One way or the other, God helps us to remember a lot of things that we have forgotten.

It is not by own power that we are able to remember whatever we have read, studied and learnt.

THE GRATITUDE

1. Let's thank God for improving our victories over our different weaknesses, in Jesus'name

2. Let's thank God for improving our victories over slumber and demonic delay, in Jesus'name

3. Let's thank God for improving our victories over forgetfulness, in Jesus'name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Sweet-GoldMan.
